Search and find...

The girls and I have been going out fairly regularly to see what kind of things we can find buried in the dirt. We’ve recently found some new patterns! I’ve had no luck searching them out on the internet with the exception of the white milk glass that says Boyd.  Through a google search it led me to This website  where I learned it was a Boyd’s milk glass jar liner used to prevent the metallic taste of the lid from seeping into the jar’s contents.  Pretty fun find!

Princess A searching for lost things...

A new floral pattern.

A new scallopy blue green pattern. This one seems pretty old.

The Boyd’s milk glass liner. Check out the link above for more info!

An hours worth of finds!

As seen in the photo above, there is what appears to be bright orange clay pigeon from someone skeet shooting. We are unsure if all of this is out there from someone using it as flying target practice or if at some time it had been possibly a personal dumping ground of years past and it’s just gotten spread out due to the years of farming. Both are possibilities, hopefully over time we will find out more about the history of the property.
